FAQs

What types of items can I donate?

Bloomin’ Deals gladly accepts your new and gently used merchandise that meets our Donation Policies. All items should be in sellable condition. Here are a few categories that are always in demand:
• Men’s, Women’s, & Children’s Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories
• Housewares, Linens, & Home Décor
• Furniture
• Books
• Jewelry

Where can I donate my items?

Deliver your donations to the Bloomin’ Deals annex. If you are in the parking lot looking at the store front, the annex is the building to your right, and the drop off area is in the back. Simply pull your vehicle through the opening in the fence and knock on the back door to your right.

When can I donate my items?

You can donate items during business hours, which are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm
Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm
Please note that we are closed on Sundays and, therefore, do not accept donations on that day.

Can I donate items after business hours?

Please do not leave your items at Bloomin’ Deals when the store is not open. It is a violation of Section 66-282 of the City of New Orleans code to leave donations when receiving is closed.

How can I receive a receipt for my donated items?

JLNO is a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible. Please download, complete, and bring the Merchandise Donation form when you deliver your items. One of our staff will sign the document for you as a receipt. If you are unable to download the form, we can provide one to you when you arrive with your donations.

If I am a business, how can I donate my overstock?

Bloomin’ Deals gladly accepts new merchandise from businesses liquidating their overstock. To make arrangements, please contact our Bloomin’ Deals Committee at bloomindeals@jlno.org or call JLNO’s Headquarters at 504-891-5845.
